Richard Teasdale

A partner at Canterbury, Richard has 15 years of experience advising corporate and private equity clients across a range of divestments, capital raisings, mergers, acquisitions and strategy mandates. Since joining Canterbury in 2010, Richard has advised on transactions across many industries, with deep sector experience in consumer, retail, IT services and software, and transport and logistics.

Prior to joining Canterbury in 2010, Richard commenced his career at PwC in the Transaction Services team undertaking due diligence on M&A transactions (2004 – 2008) and then worked at Grant Samuel in the property finance team, structuring property development and leasing transactions (2008 – 2010).

Richard was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne (2000), completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University (2003), and has a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. Richard is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
